ABOUT ME
It’s easy to get a little jaded during the hustle and bustle to get the best out of our lives. That’s the reason I decided to start this website, to write on topics close to my heart, where even readers can share their own thoughts — a website where slang is acceptable and plain speaking in obligatory. This website is my notepad, where you’ll find an eclectic mix of India’s transformational journey since 2014, reflections on current affairs and sporadic outbursts on politics.
I have a passion for designing websites, exploring wildlife, trying new restaurants and expanding my political repertoire. My guilty pleasures include eating modaks, watching movies all night, and drinking lots of tea. A person with too much free time, someone else would complain. A Sanghi, Bhakt, Blogger, Political Junkie, Web Designer, Wildlifer and a proud member of Team Chai — Howdy! I am Gaurav.
My inspiration and aspirations stem from nature. The colors of nature have always been stimulating and have a strong influence on my work, but the shades of whites, blacks and oranges have had a special place in my heart. I have always been into everything involving creativity. I discovered my passion for web design quite by accident. One thing led to the other and I established my creative agency, Designovations. I wake up every morning, excited about continuing to grow in this rapidly-evolving industry. The experience of teaching myself about this field has been both challenging and extremely rewarding.
I’ve also got an almost unhealthy obsession with everything digital, social and tech. And on this journey, I came across opportunities that could help me create impact in ways I’d never imagined — which means for me marketing is more fun than ever. And so, I set-up iVision Media which caters to digital advertising and much more. Currently I am a part of three companies — Designovations, iVision Media and owley Security Solutions — all run under the banner of Banyan Tree Brandvisers.
